This is a one-day symposium to give riders and L Graduates insight as to what judges look for at Training Level through Grand Prix. We will have horse and rider combinations at each level present tests that the participants will judge and then provide feedback to the riders, as well as discuss the scoring and comments with Joan Darnell, USEF “S” Dressage Judge, leading the discussion.
During lunch, there will be a Skagit Valley Sales Horse Showcase, featuring top sales horses from several barns in the area. A wine and cheese reception will follow the event so you can talk with Joan, meet the riders, and visit some of the sales horses.
Cottage Equine Dressage Boutique will be on site with matchy outfits for both horse and rider from Mrs. Ros, HKM, Kingsley boots, and more!
A boxed lunch is included in the registration fee of $95. If you are local, please bring a chair; if you need us to provide one for you, let us know in the comments section when you register. We look forward to having you join us for a day of dressage learning and fun!
